Two people were found dead late Monday night after a shooting at Naval Station Norfolk, base officials say.
U.S. Navy security forces responded to the incident, which happened at about 11:20 p.m. EST at Pier 1.
No other injuries were reported.
The base was briefly put on lockdown, but it has since been lifted, Naval Station Norfolk officials announced on their Facebook page.
